Since 1989, the German neighbor has been developing into an ever-growing golf state. There are currently over 30 golf courses in Poland ready to be conquered, almost half of which are championship courses that are also popular with international professionals. Most of the courses are located in the south-west of the country. Many are therefore only a stone's throw away from the German border. The weather in Poland is comparable to that in Germany, but tends to be a little cooler. The north and south of the country tend to have cooler weather due to the fresh winds from the Baltic Sea in the north and the mountainous climate in the south. Summers are rather unreliable, sometimes very dry, sometimes warm and sometimes very hot. The best time to travel is between May and October. However, beware of the month of June, which has the highest probability of rainfall of the entire year.

Most golf courses are located in close proximity to the major cities in Poland. For example, the city of Wroclaw offers the Rycerski Klub Golfowy Krobielowice, First Wroclaw Golf Club, Toya Golf & Country Club and the Gardi Golf Club, which are only a few kilometers apart. The golf courses near Warsaw (Warszawa) and Poznań (Poznań) are similarly located. So you can find a nice hotel in the city, see the sights and also enjoy playing a lot of golf.
The city of Wroclaw is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Poland. The city has a long history that has been influenced by German, Austrian and Czech cultures. It is characterized by architectural monuments and attractive museums. You should make time for the numerous music festivals and daily concerts. Wroclaw is a lively city both at night and during the day.
You should also visit Warsaw. The city was rebuilt from the ruins of the Second World War. There are good shopping opportunities in Poland's major cities. Warsaw in particular specializes in tourism and offers a number of opportunities for cheap shopping.
