Designed by the legendary Greg Norman, Doonberg Golf Club is rightly considered one of the best golf courses in Ireland. It is the only golf course in the UK and Ireland to have been built by the two-time Open Championship winner. It is said that during the construction phase of the links course, he paid 23 visits to Doughmore Bay, where the course was built, and described himself as the "luckiest designer in the world" because he was allowed to create this course.
