Description
This inland links course was opened in June 2009 and has replaced the old course in Ballywilliam (no longer available). The course is located on the R624 (take the Cobh exit from the N25), approximately 2km past the entrance to Fota Wildlife Park (at the bridge on the right). The course was designed by Hawtree Golf Course Architects and features USGA greens. The attraction is the 10th hole, a par 3 "Island Hole" (see photo). But the course is also ideal for all ambitious and less experienced golfers - challenging greens but also wonderful views of Cork-harbour and the surrounding area make playing here a real experience!
