Sidmouth Golf Club Delivers Spectacular Performances Across Multiple Competitions

Last week's Sidmouth Jewellers' Friday Stableford was won with a solid score of 42 by Pete Basnett. Second spot went to Simon Emerson on 41 with Graham Davies in third on 39 points.
The Potbury Trophy Multi-format competition on Saturday saw some tremendous scoring when the par for the day was 40 points. In first place with a fantastic score of 51 were Mike Knight and Steve Crabb which included 9 birdies! Andrew Dean and Chris Long 46 and Linda Reynolds with Gill Paddon 45 took the runner up prizes also with great scores.
On Monday the over 60's played for the Veterans Cup medal competition. Another great score was posted by Ian Phillips with a net 57. John Bainbridge was 2nd with 60, just ahead of John Randall on 61 in third.
Finally the Upper Crust Stableford on Monday saw Tiku Patidar win Div 1 with 39 points from Chris Roberts 37 with Neil Faulkner taking the Seniors prize also with 37. In Div 2, Joe Norris prevailed on 35, from Howard Cushing and Dave Richards.
