Rockmount Girls Shine at Inter-Club Competition

Rockmount Golf Club is celebrating the commendable efforts of its members who recently competed in the Girls (under-19) Inter-club competition held at Castlereagh Hills. Representing Rockmount were two dedicated teams: Abbie & Alexandria Poole (Team A) and Josslyn McCartney & Bethany McIlhatton (Team B). Both duos demonstrated skill and poise on the course, finishing 5th and 12th respectively in a field full of talent. Their performances brought pride to the club and underscore the promising future of Rockmount's young talent.

The competition was fierce, with Clandeboye emerging as the team to beat, achieving a remarkable combined score of 90 stableford points. This win by Clandeboye sets a high bar, but the efforts of the Rockmount teams were noteworthy and set the stage for future successes.

The under-19 inter-club competition serves as an important platform for nurturing young golfers, providing them with the experience needed to excel in the sport. The achievements of Abbie, Alexandria, Josslyn, and Bethany are a testament to their hard work and the supportive environment fostered at Rockmount Golf Club.
