Port Regis Golf Club Celebrates Tes Awards Nomination

Last night, representatives from Port Regis Golf Club, including Mr. Mills, Mr. Woolmer, Mrs. Handaji, and Mrs. Nicholson, along with their dedicated Housemothers—Mrs. Foster, Mrs. Miskin, and Mrs. Wareham—traveled to London for the prestigious Tes Awards. The club was nominated for ‘Boarding School of the Year’, a significant nod to the high standards and commitment within their educational initiatives. Although they didn't take home the trophy, being shortlisted alongside some of the biggest and best schools in the country was an immense honor.

The winners in their category, Haileybury UK, as well as fellow nominees like Dragon School Oxford, Cottesmore School, Oundle School, Shrewsbury School, Handcross Park, and Scarborough College all earned hearty congratulations from the Port Regis team.

The event itself proved to be incredibly uplifting, with a room filled with inspiring teachers and educational institutions from both state and independent sectors. It was a night celebrating the very best in education, highlighting the achievements and innovations of schools across the country.
