Congratulations to Peter Huge, a member at Carmarthen Golf Club & Driving Range who celebrated a hole in one at Haverfordwest Golf Club in a Rabbits match yesterday.
Peter struck a lovely 8 iron to the 136 yard picturesque 14th hole with pond between the tee and the green.
Peter stated that Dominic from the H’west team saw it roll in. "We were unsure initially as we lost sight of the ball as the hole is slightly masked by reeds from the pond but he'd gone to the right side of the tee to see it roll in."
Peter stated, "We were four down to two excellent players who’d had two birdies and 8 pars. We brought it back to 2 down, three to go, but David chipped in for a birdie on the 16th to end our comeback."
