Scratch Team Does it Again!
Last night our Scratch team went to Waterton Park needing at least two wins and a draw in the three match play games to win the league for the second consecutive year. A huge challenge against the league leaders.
Saul Guilford, with some massive hitting off the tee, won his match 2&1. Matt Dolling, hot off his win in our club championship on Sunday, won 2 up. It was then left to Oscar Land, via a 60 foot putt, to seal the win with a 2 up victory to give us the league title once again.
Playing an equally important part in our victory over the season with vital points contributions were Rafi Saipe, Yoni Phillips and David Liversidge
