Maize Maze Returns to Cowdray Park Golf Club with 'Farming Through the Ages' Theme

The Maize Maze is back! After the success of last summer’s event, the Maize Maze is returning this year with a theme of ‘Farming Through the Ages’ 🧑‍🌾

The maize was planted in the spring with Head of Farming, Barney, and his team loading a horse and plough design into the tractor’s GPS, enabling the seed drill to turn on and off at the appropriate time to create the walkways.

The project is being overseen by Nick McDonald, Cowdray’s Land Manager, who describes the Maize Maze as 'a community-focused project, teaching children about farming as well as being a bit of summer holiday fun. It is a massive group effort from so many people across Cowdray to ensure the Maize Maze is a success.' 🌽

Doors open on Thursday, 1st of August, from 10am! Stay tuned to see the final result of the Maize Maze and flower picking patch.
