John Rumbles Leads Round Four of Veterans Trophy at Harburn Golf Club

In one of the sunniest days of the year, Harburn Golf Club hosted the fourth round of the Veterans Trophy, showcasing impressive scores and tight competition. John Rumbles emerged as the standout performer, securing the best score of 39 points. Close behind were Gary Sneddon and Alexander Bathgate, each earning 37 points.

The overall leaderboard is fiercely contested with Grant Hawthorne and William Cruikshanks sharing the top spot at 107 points. Alan Rome follows closely with 104 points, and he is trailed by John Stewart, Jim Stewart, and Brian Lee, all of whom have accumulated 103 points. Jim McEwan sits just behind them with 102 points, while David Russell, Brian Anderson, and Alistair Hutson round out the top ten, each holding 101 points.

Newcomers David Galloway and Tom Robb had a strong entry into the competition, scoring 36 and 35 points respectively. Notably, Tom Robb impressively scored a 2 on the 15th hole, while Grant Hawthorne registered his third hole-in-two of the year on the 3rd hole.

With August and September rounds still ahead, the stage is set for a thrilling conclusion as both seasoned competitors and new faces vie for the top prize at the Harburn Golf Club’s Veterans Trophy.
