Golf Club Director Takes on 100-Hole Challenge for Charity
06/14/2024
A message from our Director of Golf, Shaun Hall:
I’m going for it again 🙌
Tuesday 18th June I will be playing 100 holes in a day fully walking to raise funds for 2 amazing charities.
This is 1 of 3 challenges I will be doing this year, the other 2 will be the Utilita 10k and a Triathlon in September.
Why am I doing it? I’m very fortunate to be in a position where I can do something positive for others who can’t so I wanted to take on the challenge again, raise money for others who need care and to raise awareness, even if only one person gets a little more education on what these charities are about and achieve it’ll be worth it. I also love blistered feet, back pain and people watching me suffer 🫣
Alzheimer’s society - the UK’s biggest health and social care crises, 1 in 3 people in the UK will be diagnosed with dementia in their lifetime.
Hampshire cricket foundation - raising funds for the Children’s unit at University hospital Southampton along with more amazing funding for children with severe disabilities or conditions such as autism.
Please can I ask any of you to donate to my justgiving page, the donations will be split equally between both charities. 🙏
Updates on the day will be promoted on social media.
Please see links in the bio for both charities and the donation page. #BoundaryLakes
