Celebrating Bobby Jones' Legacy at Wallasey Golf Club

Today marks a special anniversary in the history of our club: In 1930, Bobby Jones played in Open Qualifying on his way to completing the 'impregnable quadrilateral,' as O.B. Keeler called it, chronicling Jones' quest to win all four majors, 'The Grand Slam.'

It was the start of a special relationship we share with the great man, and in 1931, he was made an honorary life member of the club.
