It is not only the first time the PGA Tour Champions plays on the African continent but the first time a PGA Tour-sanctioned tournament is held there. The Samanah Golf Club was designed by Jack Nicklaus.
The Morocco Champions in the season 2020 is being played in Marrakesch, Marokko at the Samanah Golf Club. The tournament starts at the Thursday, 30th of January and ends at the Saturday, 1st of February 2020.
