Description
Located within the Ria Formosa Natural Park, the natural habitat for numerous birds, Pinheiros Altos is an original golf course that combines two sections, each with nine holes and completely different characteristics. While the first nine holes are on sandy ground amidst noble pine trees and hilly terrain, the second half of the course stretches over gentle hills with many water hazards. The other 9 holes were designed by Portuguese architect Santana da Silva and opened in 2007.
