More than 20 years of beautiful play(ing) in the heart of Germany... Welcome to Golfclub Hofgut Praforst e.V. one of the few 27-hole golf courses in Germany, conveniently located directly on the A7 at the Schlitz/Hünfeld exit 18 kilometers from the gates of the baroque town of Fulda. The two golf courses (18-hole east course and 9-hole west course) are embedded in the hilly landscape of the Vorderrhön with magnificent views of the mountain range of the "Hessisches Kegelspiel" and the peaks of the Hochrhön. The large driving range with 110 covered and uncovered tees offers you the opportunity to practise shots up to 260m in length. A huge practice area with pitching and chipping green, various sand bunkers and the spacious putting green leaves nothing to be desired. George Diakou and Andrew McQueen are your competent partners for golf lessons at Golfclub Hofgut Praforst e.V. You will find the golf equipment that suits you. If you buy clubs from them, a free fitting is included. They have also been organizing exclusive golf trips to the USA - South Africa - North Africa - Asia - Great Britain - Eastern and Southern Europe for 20 years. As a club, we support children's and youth golf with summer camps, various training groups and our youth team. Thanks to the DGV's "Tee-off School" initiative, more and more schoolchildren have been teeing off with us during their sports lessons for years, true to the motto: "From school straight to the golf course". In our club restaurant, you can enjoy a variety of delicious menus and drinks before and after your round of golf with a wonderful view of the Hessian bowling green from the terrace.
