Anticipation is building on the PGA Tour as the RBC Heritage enters its crucial third round. Set against the stunning backdrop of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, the Harbour Town Golf Links course was alive with drama and excitement.
Scottie Scheffler from the USA has surged ahead, taking the lead with a total score of -16, closely followed by Austria’s Sepp Straka with a total score of -15. Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, and Patrick Rodgers, all from the USA, round up the top five positions on the leaderboard with total scores of -14, -13, and -13 respectively.
All eyes are on these players as they vie for a part of the considerable tournament’s prize money. Holding a staggering purse of $20,000,000, the RBC Heritage is indeed a high-stake competition.
With only one round left before the tournament draws to a close, the tension is ramping up. That being said, nothing is decided yet, and the RBC Heritage champion remains to be seen.

About the PGA Tour
The PGA Tour is the largest American professional golf tour. There are 36 tournaments on the tour’s schedule this season. The tournaments mainly take place in the USA, but there are also some international venues over the course of the season. The signature events introduced in 2023 offer higher prize money and a smaller field of participants. There will be a total of eight of these events in the 2024 season. The four Majors and the Players Championship are also part of the PGA Tour. At the end of the tours season, the 70 best players in the FedEx Cup season rankings will play in a three-tournament play-off for overall tour victory and an extra 18 million dollars in prize money.
