Vallda G&CC near Gothenburg has been very friendly so far and after two days 108 of the players at this week's Scandinavian Mixed Hosted by Henrik & Annika played it on par or better. The cut line was set to three under par, but some of the favorites didn't manage to match this score and had to pack their bags earlier than expected.

Adri Arnaus, 139th in the world, is one of the highest ranked players in the field this week. The Spaniard has two top 10s in his last five starts and it is surprising that we won't see him during the weekend. Arnaus played the course at one over par today and missed the cut just by one shot. The biggest damage today was done on the par five eight where he made triple bogey.
Maverick Antcliff

Maverick Antcliff arrived in Sweden after solid performance at the Porsche European Open. The world number 209 Antcliff finished tied for 11th and posted his second top 11 finish in his last four starts. Maverick Antcliff played the course at two under par for the first two days and like Arnaus missed the cut just by one shot.
Darius Van Driel

We expected more from Darius Van Driel who tied for second last week at the Porsche European Open. The Dutchman already posted several top 10s this season and we expect from him to finally make his breakthrough, not to miss cuts. After rounds of 70 and 74 at Vallda G&CC Van Driel ended the second round at shared 99th place to miss the cut by two.
Not a surprise but worth mentioning: Annika Sorenstam

Tournament host and LPGA legend Annika Sorenstam played her competitive tournament on home soil for the first time in 15 years. Sorenstam played great golf for a retired player and posted two 73s. As a result she finished the second round at two over par and we won't see her on the course during the weekend.
