Adam Scott wins the Australian PGA Championship on the European Tour in front of Michael Hendry in second position. Scott carded a final round of 69 to win the tournament with a score of -13, two shots in front of Hendry. It is Scotts first victory since 2016 and his first win on home soil since 2013.


"After the good save on 12 it was time to do something", Scott said after his round. "There were good opportunities for everyone and I was the one who took them today. I'm stoked about this. It's been a long time coming and I'm really happy to win another PGA here."

The Australian PGA Championship is part of the European Tour. The tournament is held from December 19th until the 22nd of December 2019 at RACV Royal Pines Resort in RACV Royal Pines Resort, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. This year a total prize money of AUD 1,500,000 will be paid to the players.

On the European Tour the last tournament of the year will take place this week. Together with the PGA Australia the Australian PGA Championship will be played in Queensland. The venue is the RACV Royal Pines Resort, which is waiting for the pros with a course over 6,700 meters long.
