  4. This title comes 17 years after his first major triumph - the 2004 Masters
  5. Mickelson becomes the oldest player to win a major. Mickelson, 50 years, 11 months and 8 days old, beats the record of Julius Boros who was 48 years, 4 months and18 days old when won the PGA Championship in 1968.
  6. This week Mickelson made his 97th cut in a major from 113  starts.
  7. Mickelson is 20 years older than Brooks Koepka who played alongside him in the final round
